BIOGRAPHY
My journey as an artist started in Dumfries and Galowaly when I was 9 years old. Here, I met my first mentors who inspired me to create art, surrounded by the Scottish riviera and other artistic influences. As a young man I was inspired by Van Goth and Da'vinci's work, I had a strong passion and enthusiasm for art which has driven my desire to create art.

During my studies at Kendal College and living in the Lake District I was drawn to realism, since then my style has developed to a more free flowing and abstract feel in landscapes. I have followed my interests for realism in portraiture and pet portraiture.

I work in a wide range of styles and study a wide range of subjects. I mainly work in Oil on canvas, however, I also enjoy working on paper using pastels and charcoal. I work with subjects from people, pets, landscapes, to cars.

My ambition is to establish a clientele in my area of work, and create art for people and families to enjoy for years to come. Whilst I achieve this, I aspire to apply for the Royal Academy of Art in London, where I can pursue my interest in art, and develop myself and my style further and in new ways.

I am currently starting off my professional career as an artist, and I am taking on commissions at a discounted limited-time rate.
